Why do I have to log in with Twitch?

• It ensures unique users and discourages bots.
• I don't have to store your emails or password hashes.
• They handle usernames so I don't have to.
• You probably came here from twitch so there's a good chance you have an account already.

What I do store

• A unique uuid that my site creates for you.
• Your assigned twitch user id. You can't change this at twitch.
• Your twitch username, but it's updated each time you log in.
• The path to your public twitch profile image, also updates every login.
